Dreambody Nutrition is a Leicestershire based weight management coach, specialising in body confidence and healthy lifestyle changes.
We cater for full-time mums and dads, couples, students, complete beginners or those who have tried endless failed diets.
There are many reasons Dreambabes come to us. If one of those reasons is weight loss then your diet needs to be balanced in order to achieve successful weight loss.
You can exercise as much as you'd like but if you are not eating healthy, you will not receive the full benefit of weight loss, and vice versa.
I can educate you on ways to incorporate healthy eating into your lifestyle and create a personalised plan to achieve your goals.
Having positive self-esteem and feeling confident isn't always easy - there are lots of things that affect the way we feel about ourselves, from experiences in childhood to societal expectations of success and beauty.
Something people often overlook when it comes to self-confidence is our health. Think about it - when you’re feeling physically and mentally well, chances are you feel better about yourself generally.
What we eat and our relationship with food plays a big role in this.
Investing in yourself is one of the best return on investments you can have. Changing your lifestyle isn't always easy, and there may be bumps in the road, we can resolve these together.
Your mentality and how you view food will drastically alter how effective weight loss or gain will be .
Our goal is to set you up for success and shift the way you relate to food.
After yo-yo dieting in between having 2 children, its safe to say I have been overweight and underweight. I had next to zero knowledge of nutrition, I honestly believed a dangerously low calorie diet would give me the body I wanted .
I gave birth to my son and I had piled the weight on. My son was born very poorly and I soon slipped into depression, I didn't seek help, instead I had a dangerously unhealthy relationship with food. Filling my body with all of the wrong foods but wanting to be super skinny took its toll. I'm not embarassed to say I went through a stage of bulimia and crippling anxiety around eating. I did around 12 hours of cardio a week and ate minimal, most of what I did eat would come back up, this gave me a sense of control, this went on for two years.
I then fell pregnant with my daughter, she changed everything for me. I realised from the second she was born that I had this little girl who looked up to me and I did not want her to have a stigma around food like i had. When she was 5 weeks old I got straight back in the gym, I was determined to do things properly this time so I attempted to follow a slimming group from home and it was brilliant.... for a while.
I couldn't help but think i could use my past experiences with eating and the emotional side of it to help others......so here I am. You know part of my story, now tell me yours :)
